Chabad of UCF: A Celebration of Light
For three years, I was fortunate enough to be a student at University of Central Florida studying photography where I found Rabbi Chaim and Rivkie Lipskier, directors of the Chabad on Campus initiative. A place where over 6000 jewish students go to for weekly meals, activities, social events etc. It is a home away from home. After attending dozens of weekly events, I began to take photos and videos and help spread their message in an effort to generate funding for future initiatives. Below are two projects I worked on —

A Heartfelt Thank You:
For this video project, we interviewed 10+ current UCF students and asked them about their experiences, and the impact that the Chabad student center has had on their lives. This project was made in an effort to say thank you to the donors who make this possible and encourage others to donate and effect the next generation of Jewish students.
What does being a part of a Jewish community mean to you?
For this photo campaign, we asked each student to write down on a sheet of paper what it meant to be a part of the Jewish community at UCF. The goal was to showcase the light that eminates from the Rabbi, his wife, his kids, and the students and how their impact has been felt not only in this generation of students, but for many more in the future. We hoped to bring people together and encourage students to join more events in the future.
