For 8 weeks of the summer, I worked as an in house photo producer, and photographer on site at Camp HASC located in Parksville, NY. Over the duration of the summer, on a dozen separate days we filmed, photographed and produced branded content for Camp HASC year long content calendar which included media for their website, print materials, billboards, magazine and social media ads. The project consisted of photographing 3 different campaigns: The Faces of HASC, The Dream-makers, and The Dreamers

The Dreamers
The Dreamers campaign highlighted what happens when campers attend Camp HASC each summer. If the camper can dream it, the camp helps make it happen for them. From wanting to become a painter to spending a day in hogwartz, it allows them to keep dreaming big, regardless of the challenges that come from having a disability.
The Dreammakers
The Dream-makers campaign highlighted the incredible work that happens each summer at Camp HASC, an eight week program for individuals with special needs. We wanted to not only wanted to showcase the dreams that come true for the campers, but the faces of the people who make it happen. It featured the leaders from their 9 departments: Recreation, Academics, Biblical Studies, Music, Development, Therapy, Kitchen, Medical and Physical Fitness.
The Faces of H.A.S.C
The Faces of HASC campaign highlighted the faces of the special needs campers, but focused on putting the staff who work there, side by side. The goal being to break down barriers and showcase that we are lot more similar than we are different.
Watch video below that shows the bond the campers build with their counselors over the course of eight weeks.
The campaign featured 25+ special needs campers ranging from ages 5-60 years old and showcased their own unique personalities.
